Meet the Superintendents

The future workforce of the Roanoke Valley is in schools across the Roanoke Valley. Superintendents are chosen to lead the system and are responsible to the different Boards for all aspects of the school system. Dr. Eric Cunningham of Halifax County Schools, Dr. Monica Smith-Woofter of Northampton County Schools, Dr. Dain Butler of the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District Dr. Anitra Wells of Weldon City Schools will be meeting Chamber members for a networking reception prior to the State of Our Community luncheon. This reception is your chance to meet and network with the new and almost new Superintendents. You do not have to attend the State of Our Community luncheon to attend this networking event but it is highly suggested. We have great professionals leading our schools – come meet them and offer your support for their important efforts. While there is no fee to attend, you must RSVP for this event.
